World's Smallest Hard Drive

What's this? Not a Chiclet but an 8GB hard drive! Toshiba showed off its tiny, 0.85-inch hard drive last night, which is so small that it may have to be slapped with a "choking hazard" warning. It actually has a Guinness Book of World Records entry and weighs all of 2 grams. The drive has just jumped from 4GB to 8GB...can 16GB be far behind?

At its storage booth, Toshiba also showed off external storage hard drives (the first it's ever released), plus the first-ever writeable HD-DVD drives, in form factors for both desktop PCs and laptops. I didn't photograph those because, well, they look exactly like regular computer components.

I'll try to review some of these products in the coming months.

shutdown day

I believe that addiction to every thing could be very dangerous ,most of web loggers can confess that they are addicted to internet and actually it is better than other addictions like smoking, alcohol, opium, games, ...
in this days all of the people who don't need computer necessarily gonna shutdown their computer even me( although I am not addicted).

کارناوال بی نظمی برای آلمانی های منظم

هر سال، اواسط ماه فوریه در شهرهای اطراف رود راین ( راین-لند) مراسمی به نام «کارناوال» برگزار می شود. کارناوال در شهرهای ماینس، کلن، آخن و دوسلدورف باشکوهتر و مفصلتر از جاهای دیگر است. در روز پنجشنبه ای که «روز پیرزنان» نام دارد Altweibertag کارناوال آغاز می شود. در این روز در ساعت یازده و یازده دقیقه زنها به ساختمان شهرداری شهرشان هجوم می آورند و با لباسهای مبدل و خنده دار این عمارت را تسخیر می کنند. از این لحظه به بعد زنها بر شهر حکومت می کنند. در «روز پیرزنان» هرگاه زنی کراوات مردی را قیچی کند، مرد خود را موظف می داند که با آن زن همبستر شود.
