University Ranking

One of the most important daily discussion between students is "University ranking",
one of the best site ( but not accurate, you will see why ) is http://www.webometrics.info

3 months ago I was searching in Top Middle East university and I found an error and I send this EMail:

Hello Sir,

I found a problem in the "Middle east" page with this URL: http://www.webometrics.info/top100_continent.asp?cont=meast

in your site.

As you know the prefix of Iranian universities is (( .ac.ir )) like www.iust.ac.ir

and there is a library which is wrongly ranked as a 40th university of Middle east and 2th

university of Iran.

REGIONAL LIBRAY OF SCINCE AND TECHNOLOGY is a library and not a university, it's URL is http://www.srlst.com and as you see it is .com and not ac.ir

so would you kindly omit it from your rankings.

today, I looked at the site and I see that it was corrected and some new facilities were added to the website.
I think the ranking is not true, because TARBIAT MODARES UNIVERSITY and FERDOWSI UNIVERSITY OF MASHHAD are higher ranked than SHARIF UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY.

but I as know, the size of university is so important in ranking and I hope this site would be useful for you as it was for me.


I forgot to say if you want to study Study Medicine and Dentistry in Czech Republic look at http://www.skandinavien.cz
if you see the site is funny, dont surprise because I designed that ( in mid of exams )
